3 Sep 21 First. There are so many listings for pressure gaskets that it gets confusing. I ordered the "TamBee 8 Quart Pressure Cooker Silicone Sealing Ring Rubber Gasket Set Universal Replacement Floater and Sealer for Power Pressure Cookers Set of 9". I ordered it for our Power Pressure Cooker XL Model PPC780. The PPC780 is an eight quart model. This is super important! I think the many reviews found on for replacement sealing rings not working is a Size and maybe a Model issue. Or sellers don't know what they are doing. Could go either way I suppose.But onto the gasket set.The fit was excellent. I set the new ring on top of the old ring and looked them over closely. Near identical. Same height, thickness, grooves and indentations. The new ring was a cat's whisker smaller than the original ring, as it should be. These things stretch with time, that is why they don't hold pressure. For full disclosure, I did not have a cat's whisker to measure, I used a Chihuahua's whisker. He may forgive me.... The kit came with an assortment of little gaskets, only two of which fit my model, but better safe than sorry. For a pressure test I hard boiled a dozen eggs in the cooker just like the internet told me to, and they came out right! Unlike the dozen I cooked earlier with the old gasket that made it clear that my cooker wasn't building up proper pressure anymore.So to conclude, check your model number and quart size (not all listings include both!) and use your eyes when it arrives.
